Phoenix Flight

When the hollow ground consumes me whole

To the far fiery depths I fall,

The flames burn my flesh and bones.

When all that is left is pain.

I rise like a Phoenix and glide,

To the heavens above, my pale wings soar.

Renouncing the fire and pain

Above I fly, from the ashes of grief.

I rise like a Phoniex and smile,

Leaving all the worries and brood.

Swiftly above I waft, making everyone around, be merry and laugh.

For I will always fly back where my destiny lies.
