If I was a star, I would sparkle and shine

If I was a light, I would travel to the darkest of places

If I was a mountain, will proudly stand by my ground

If I was a river, will swiftly flow across the banks.


If I was an eagle, I would fly all day

If I was an swan, I would swim in fresh ponds

If I was a flower, I wish to be decorated before I fade

If I was a seashell, I wish to lie on the warm beaches.


If I was love, I would love every person 

If I was a heart, I would fill myself with compassion 

If I was a song, I desire to be everlasting

But I am me, and I am grateful for everything.

When the hollow ground consumes me whole To the far fiery depths I fall, The flames burn my flesh and bones. When all that is left is pain. I rise like a Phoenix and glide, To the heavens above, my pale wings soar. Renouncing the fire and pain Above I fly, from the ashes of grief.
